The Plympton-Wyoming Historical Society (PWHS) consists of community members interested in preserving the history of our municipality through the establishment of     the PLYMPTON-WYOMING MUSEUM.

The objective of our museum is to collect, preserve and exhibit historical documents and artifacts of the entire municipality.  This includes Camlachie, Wyoming and other small hamlets as well as the surrounding rural areas.   See Current exhibits

The exterior of the Camlachie Community Library Museum.

We are located in the lower level of the Camlachie Library building

The building has been renovated and is fully accessible via a lift and wheelchair ramp.

We hold regular meetings to plan future projects as well as to learn about local history from guest speakers.  The museum is closed in the winter months to give us time to prepare and install new exhibits for our summer opening.

Admission is free (donations gladly accepted).

Private or group tours can be arranged by contacting Don Poland at dpoland1@cogeco.ca / 519-869-4909.
